Dragon Tiger Pragmatic Play Slot Review, Demo Play, Payout, Free Spins & Bonuses

Dragon Tiger is a Pragmatic Play powered game that plays out on 5 reels, 4 rows and 1,024 ways to win. The base game comes with regular wild symbols, while you’ll benefit from multiplying multiplier wilds in the all-important bonus round. This can lead to massive payouts up to 20,000x your stake, and this is a highly volatile asian-themed title.

Dragon Tiger (Pragmatic Play) Review

Clearly, Dragon Tiger is aimed at the asian markets primarily, but the solid potential might raise some eyebrows also among western punters. The rather generic chinese-style audiovisuals are pretty much as you would expect from games like this, and Pragmatic has made no attempt to avoid clichés with this title.

If you enjoy a bit of simple gameplay that revolves around a sole bonus round feature, you might wanna check this one out. However, the “hit or miss” factor runs high here, as many times the bonus round will leave you with little or nothing to show for. You need to land those multiplier wild combos to get anywhere, and this is a lot easier said than done most of the time.

Dragon Tiger Features

This is far from being a feature rich game, but you will benefit from a Dragon wild symbol that can land on reels 2, 3 and 4. These wilds will step in for all regular symbols like they usually do, and help you form winning combinations. That’s pretty much it for the base game, as Dragon Tiger is truly all about the free spins bonus round.

The game logo is the scatter symbol here, and you need at least 3 anywhere to trigger the free spins round. More specifically, you get 8, 15 or 20 free spins when you land 3, 4 or 5 scatters, respectively. However, you also get a scatter win of either 2x, 10x or 20x. During the feature, you will get 5, 8, 15 or 20 extra spins when you land 2, 3, 4 or 5 scatters, respectively.

You will still land dragon wilds only on the 3 middle reels, but now they come charged with random multiplier values of either 2x, 3x or 5x.

If you land wins with more than one multiplier wild, the multiplier values are multiplied with each other. This can lead to some pretty solid payouts, and you can see the combined multiplier value above the reels for each spin.

The 200 Spins Dragon Tiger Experience

The base game grind is not all that exciting in this game, so we don’t blame you for skipping straight to the bonus round. We trigger the free spins feature around the 1-minute mark, and you can find out exactly how much we won by watching the brief highlights video below.

Review Summary

Pragmatic Play has done very little to make Dragon Tiger stick out from other generic chinese-themed games. The exception is the very respectable 20,000x potential, which is possible due to the multiplying multipliers during the bonus round. Filling the screen with the high value tiger symbol pays 7,680x, which makes for a solid theoretical base game potential also.

The base game is mostly a generic looking snoozefest however, but the good news is that you trigger the free spins feature quite often for a highly volatile game. The downside being that the feature will leave you disappointed most of the time, offering few multiplier wilds and measly total payouts.

Pros

  • Bonus round with multiplying multiplier wilds
  • High volatility
  • 20,000x max win potential

Cons

  • Generic asian-themed game with nothing new to offer
